Marketplace Roundup: German Golf Association Reaches Title Sponsorship Deal With Deka

The German Golf Association (DGV) and Deka have renewed and increased their partnership. The financial insitute has signed on as the DGV's new title sponsor. As part of the five-year deal, Deka will also support the DGV's youth initiatives (DGV). ... German 3rd League football club VfL Osnabrück added RunBet as a new club partner. The sporting bet provider receives ad space on boards at VfL home games (VfL Osnabrück). ... Henkel renewed its partnership with the French National Rugby League (LNR). Henkel is now the official brand of the Top 14 for the '15-16 season (LNR). ... BT was announced as the sustainable technology partner to Land Rover BAR, the British America's Cup team led by Ben Ainslie. The two organizations have come together to launch 100% Sport, a global initiative to inspire sports fans around the world to take action to tackle climate change and reduce carbon emissions by switching to renewable electricity (BT). ... Football Federation Australia and global tire company Continental Tires signed a multi-year deal to become FFA's official tire partner. Continental Tires will activate its partnership across a range of FFA properties including the Socceroos, Hyundai A-League, Westfield FFA Cup and AIA Vitality MiniRoos. Continental has a long association with football in Europe, and more recently, as a corporate partner of the Asian Football Confederation and has joined FFA's corporate program after a successful introduction to the Australian market as a sponsor of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup (Football Australia). ... Australian Rugby Union side Western Force renewed its partnership with apparel provider BLK for four seasons, to the end of '19. The renewal comes on the back of record retail jersey sales for the Western Force in '15. The extension continues the partnership that began in '12 -- initially under the auspices of BLK's former brand, KooGa (Western Force). ... A-League side Brisbane Roar FC and Griffith University announced a partnership which will see the university closely aligned with the Roar's men's team. Roar will make Griffith University its formal A-League training facility in Brisbane. The Roar W-League squad will have an extended training base on the Gold Coast at Musgrave Football Club, which is supported by Griffith Student Guild. Brisbane also announced TAG Heuer extended its partnership with the club. The Swiss watchmaker first partnered with the Roar last year (Brisbane Roar).
