Eurosport Renews Exclusive Australian Open Broadcast, OTT Rights Across Europe

Eurosport secured the renewal of exclusive digital and TV rights for the Australian Open. The new deal ensures the Australian Open remains on Eurosport across more than 50 European markets until '21. The renewed partnership with Tennis Australia, which begins in '17, also includes new additional exclusive rights to two Australian Open warm-up ATP tournaments, the World Tennis Challenge along with rights to the Hopman Cup. In total, the new deal promises around 300 hours of live coverage on Eurosport's TV channels and, for the first time, live online coverage of available matches from each event as produced by Tennis Australia. The events include the ATP Brisbane Int'l, ATP Sydney Int'l, Hopman Cup and World Tennis Challenge (Eurosport).
