Barcelona, Twitter Reach Agreement To Offer Sponsored Content

Barcelona and Twitter reached an agreement which will allow the club and its sponsors to expand their online presence with the introduction of small advertisements on Barça’s content via Twitter Amplify. Sports drinks company Gatorade is the first Barça sponsor that will take advantage of this new deal. In the beginning phase, the content will be accessible via Barça’s Twitter account in Spanish (@FCBarcelona_es) to reach the Latin American market. This is the first time that Twitter has signed an int'l agreement of this kind with a football club (Barcelona).
