Marketplace Roundup: Tottenham Names Aquascutum Formal Wear Partner

EPL side Tottenham named Aquascutum its new formal wear partner for the next three years. The brand will provide made-to-measure suits to the club's first team squad, coaching staff, management and board of directors (Tottenham). ... Turkish football club Fenerbahce agreed to a one-year shirt sponsorship deal with Russian Internet services company Yandex. The company's logo will be featured on the front of the club's shirts for domestic league matches for the '15-16 season. Fenerbache also recently signed a shirt sponsorship deal with Turkish Airlines for European competitions (ISPORTCONNECT, 8/14). ... A-League side Newcastle Jets announced that sports technology company Linebreak will be its official compression supplier for the '15-16 season (Newcastle Jets). ... League Championship side Middlesbrough announced a sponsorship deal with Marathonbet that sees the brand become an official partner of the club. Campaigns across the club’s digital platforms come in the form of dedicated offers, enhanced odds and the release of exclusive content throughout the duration of the partnership (Middlesbrough FC). ... Motor Village UK renewed its contract with League Championship side Fulham to become the club’s official car partner for the '15-16 season. The one-year extension means that Fiat’s flagship London dealer will continue to supply Fulham with vehicles for use as matchday corporate shuttles and, on non-matchdays, for the club’s player care and academy departments. As well as supplying vehicles, the deal brings Motor Village UK a set of marketing rights including in-stadium advertising, LED pitch perimeter branding and the opportunity to showcase vehicles to both Fulham players and fans at Craven Cottage (Fulham FC). ... World Rugby announced the appointment of Heathrow as an official tournament provider to Rugby World Cup 2015 (Rugby World Cup). ... Serie A side AS Roma named Sisal Matchpoint as its new top sponsor for the '15-16 season. The online sports betting company "will receive visibility in Roma’s Olympic Stadium home, while the partnership will allow the company to associate its name with the club across a number of initiatives and events." Roma played without a main sponsor on its shirts during pre-season matches ahead of the '15-16 season (SOCCEREX, 8/14). ... EPL side Crystal Palace announced a two-year stadium partnership with sports fashion retailer JD (Crystal Palace).
