UEFA Super Cup Attracts More Than 3.5 Million Viewers On ZDF

German public broadcaster ZDF "recorded more than 3.5 million viewers for its broadcast of the UEFA Super Cup between Barcelona and Sevilla," according to Manuel Nunez Sanchez of QUOTENMETER. Tuesday's game, which started at 8:45pm, attracted an average of 3.64 million viewers. The number translated into a market share of 15.9%. In the target demographic 14-49, the match, which Barcelona won 5-4 after extra time, obtained an 11.9% share as 940,000 viewers tuned in (QUOTENMETER, 8/12).

IN SPAIN: The EFE reported Spanish broadcaster Antena 3's coverage of the match drew an audience of 3.9 million and obtained a market share of 33.7%. The audience peaked at 10:09pm local time, with 6.5 million viewers, which translated to a market share of 44.6% (EFE, 8/12).
