Marketplace Roundup: Under Armour Becomes Title Partner Of NBA Draft Combine

Under Armour and the NBA announced a multi-year global partnership that makes Under Armour the title partner of the NBA Draft Combine and presenting partner of the Jr. NBA, the league's youth basketball program. Under Armour will also team with the league to launch an NBA FIT mobile application powered by the brand's Connected Fitness platform. This agreement represents an expanded partnership between the NBA and Under Armour (NBA). ... Borussia Dortmund has signed a new sponsorship deal with software provider Lexware for the '15-16 season. The German company will become a third-tier partner of the club (Borussia Dortmund).... Handball Bundesliga (HBL) side SG Flensburg-Handewitt has renewed its sponsorship deal with erotic company Orion for another season. Orion will remain the presenting partner of the club's sweeper crew (Flensburg-Handewitt). ... Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt has extended its deal with insurance provider Kaufmännische Krankenkasse. The company, which has been a partner of the club since '14-15, will continue to receive sideline signage in camera view. The deal was brokered by Sportfive (Eintracht Frankfurt). ... Bundesliga side FC Augsburg agreed to a new partnership with truck company MAN for the '15-16 season. MAN will receive traditional signage as part of the deal. Augsburg also added electronics retail chain TechnoMarkt to its sponsorship roster. Both deals were brokered by Sportfive (FC Augsburg). ... FC Augsburg also agreed to a one-year sponsorship with paints and coatings specialist KLB Kötztal Lacke & Beschichtungen GmbH, which will become a third-tier partner. Its branding will appear on TV-visible advertising hoardings at Augsburg's WWK Arena, where the company "will also have access to hospitality facilities." According to Sponsors.de, KLB will be paying around $167,000 (SOCCEREX, 8/12). ... Dutch side AFC Ajax named Cheng Shin Tire (CST) an official partner of the club. CST has been connected to the club as an official sponsor since '13 and the new three-year deal sees the Chinese producer of scooter and bicycle tires "step up its partnership with the Eredivise side" (SOCCEREX, 8/12).
