Marketplace Roundup: DEL Side Hamburg Freezers Extends Deal With Car Dealership Until '17

German Hockey League (DEL) club Hamburg Freezers and car dealership Autohaus C. Thomsen have extended their partnership until '17. As part of the deal, the dealership's logo will be featured on the back of the team's jersey, on the ice and on boards in camera view. Autohaus C. Thomsen has been a partner of the club since '07 (Hamburg Freezers). ... Nexen Tire has become an official partner of Manchester City Football Club as a part of the company's sports marketing plan. The partnership underpins Nexen Tire's rapid expansion into the global market (Man City). ... The Bermuda Tourism Authority has become an official partner of the 35th America's Cup. The official partnership agreement includes prominent branding and activation space at each America's Cup venue in '15, '16 and '17, as well as commercial airtime promoting Bermuda on U.S. TV broadcasts on NBC Sports of the America's Cup in '17 (America's Cup). ... EPL side Everton has renewed its deal with ticket reseller StubHub until the end of the '16-17 season. StubHub will remain the club's official ticket marketplace for the next two seasons (Everton). ... League Championship side Fulham reached an agreement with Visit Florida as its main team sponsor for the '15-16 season. Visit Florida is Florida's official tourist board, providing holiday and travel content. As the main team sponsor, the Visit Florida's logo will now adorn the front of Fulham's brand new home, away and third kit. In addition, Visit Florida will have signage rights and be featured on the Riverside Stand roof at Craven Cottage on the leading approach from London's Heathrow Airport (Fulham). ... The League Managers Association announced a new commercial partnership with beer brand Carling. The partnership will provide Carling with access to the LMA membership to support a number of consumer promotional programs, trade activities and internal activation (LMA). ... Commonwealth Games England announced that National Express will continue to support Team England through to the 2018 Commonwealth Games. National Express' support will now continue through the next two Commonwealth Youth Games, to the Gold Coast Games in '18 (Commonwealth Games England). ... EPL side West Bromwich Albion renewed its multi-year partnership with bet365. The renewal comes despite there being one year remaining on the excisting agreement. The partnership will see bet365 continue to be featured on the pitchside LED system at the Hawthorns as well as on the interview backdrop, while also retaining its existing designation as the Baggies' U.K. and European betting partner (West Brom).
