RONALDO STORMS OUT
: CRISTIANO RONALDO walked out of a TV interview after he was "questioned about the corruption scandal" that has engulfed FIFA, telling the interviewer, "I don't give a f***." The Real Madrid striker "thought he was going to answer a few questions about a range of headphones" he was launching in the U.S., but CNN Español presenter ANDRES OPPENHEIMER had "other ideas." He wanted to know how Ronaldo's teammates had been affected by the corruption allegations and arrests at FIFA. Ronaldo got "visibly angry when asked about the controversial decision" to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar. Before walking out, he said, "I can't speak like that. This is bull****. Speak about FIFA, I don't care about FIFA. And Qatar ... I don't give a f***. What you want me to do? Speak about product [the headphones], he speaks about Fifa ... come on" (LONDON TIMES, 8/4).
