Premiership Rugby Signs Five-Year Int'l TV Rights Deal With Altice Group, RDA TV

Premiership Rugby concluded a new five-year int'l TV rights agreement which substantially increases revenues for Aviva Premiership Rugby and the Singha Premiership Rugby 7s Series. Altice group will broadcast Premiership Rugby on its MCS TV networks (Ma Chaine Sport) in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Switzerland and sub-Saharan Africa, while RDA TV will distribute to broadcasters globally. Altice group is exclusively advised by media rights consultant Nick Haigh. Premiership Rugby Commercial Dir Dominic Hayes: "We conducted a very competitive, transparent and wide-ranging bid process and received incredibly strong interest from agencies and broadcasters around the world." The rights are currently with Pitch Int'l through the end of the '15-16 season (Premiership Rugby).
