Sport1, ARD To Split Coverage Of Europa League Qualification Matchup

Two different channels "will show the home and away legs of Borussia Dortmund's Europa League qualification matchup against Austrian side Wolfsberger AC," according to Holger Rehm of SPONSORs. The first leg, which will be played in Klagenfurt, will air on German free-to-air TV channel Sport1 on Thursday. Sport1 recently acquired the free-TV rights to the Europa League from '15-16 through '17-18. However, those rights only take effect with the start of the group stage. The return leg in Dortmund will be shown by German public broadcaster ARD (SPONSORs, 7/28).
