Marketplace Roundup: Bosch Car Service Becomes Partner Of DHB Referees

The German Handball Federation (DHB) has signed a new sponsorship deal with Bosch Car Service to become the official partner of the federation's referees. The company's logo will be featured on the referees' shirts for the next two years. Bosch Car Service has been a partner of the DHB since the beginning of the year. The deal was brokered by Sportfive (DHB). ... Turkish football club Fenerbahce signed a deal with Turkish Airlines which will see the airline's logos displayed on the club's '15-16 kits in int'l competitions. No financial details were disclosed. The deal sees Turkish Airlines, already the club's official airline, become its shirt sponsor in Champions League and Europa League matches (FOOTY HEADLINES, 7/28). ... The European Sponsorship Association announced that Repucom will partner with the ESA Summit 2015 providing the research and insight that will underpin the Summit theme of: Is official dead? Repucom will utilize its global insights and conduct strategic research to explore the topic in detail and understand how fans consume and engage with "official" content and partners. The key findings will be presented at the event in November (Repucom). ... Paris St. Germain signed a sponsorship deal with northwest Mexico-headquartered lager brand Tecate. The deal, details of which have not been formally released, "will see the beverage brand stand alongside PSG's culinary sponsors -- Swedish pizza company Billy’s Pan Pizza and Indonesian water brand Super 02 Sport" (SOCCEREX, 7/28). ... The Spanish Football League (LFP) and betting service Sportium extended their partnership for two years through '17. The LFP and Sportium first partnered in October. Sportium is a joint venture between Ladbrokes and Spanish gaming group Cirsa (SOCCEREX, 7/27).
