Marketplace Roundup: Mobile Phone Brand Yezz Extends Bordeaux Sponsorship

Ligue 1 club Girondins de Bordeaux and Infront Sports & Media announced the extension of the club's partnership with American mobile phone brand Yezz. Through the sponsorship agreement, Yezz, headquartered in Miami, will continue to be visible on the back of the official jersey of Bordeaux during the '15-16 and '16-17 seasons. Yezz Mobile will also be a committed partner in the Girondins Tour this summer -- aligned with the players who will travel along the beaches of Aquitaine (southwest France) and offer sports activities to the public (Infront). ... CONCACAF announced on Tuesday that Allstate Insurance Company will be the official protector of the Gold Cup trophy. The seven-city Gold Cup Trophy tour is scheduled for this month (Allstate). ... League Championship side Derby County extended its training wear sponsorship agreement with apprenticeship provider 3aaa for the '15-16 season. The 3aaa logo will appear on Derby's first team and management staff's day-to-day training wear (Derby County). ... The FA of Wales announced that sports fashion retailer JD will sponsor the Welsh Cup from '15-16 in a two-year deal. The event will now be known as the JD Welsh Cup. This year, 199 teams will take part, with the winners entering the Europa League qualification rounds. The first round qualifying draw took place on Wednesday (FAW). ... Volleyball England named Mizuno its first commercial partner for the London Legacy Volleyball Cup. Mizuno will be the official kit supplier of the Cup, the biggest volleyball event in England since '12. Mizuno UK will extend its recently announced relationship with Volleyball England to supply event-specific clothing to event staff and volunteers, lines of souvenir merchandise, support and guidance on merchandising, promotional extensions and general branding and imagery (Volleyball England).
