Sports Media Rights Agency B4 Capital Retains International Rights For Coppa Italia

London-based sports media agency B4 Capital "has retained the global rights to the Coppa Italia for a further three seasons," until the '17-18 edition of the tournament, according to SOCCEREX. The deal between Serie A and B4 "also includes rights to the annual Supercoppa Italiana between the league and cup winners of the previous season." According to Sportbusiness.com, the deal is valued at just under €18M ($20M) per season. BeIN Media Group, Mediapro and IMG Events & Media "are reportedly among the other agencies who submitted bids for the rights, but who were ultimately beaten by B4" (SOCCEREX, 6/23).
