UEFA Euro U21 Match Attracts More Than 5 Million Viewers On ARD

German public broadcaster ARD "recorded more than 5 million viewers" for the broadcast of the UEFA U21 European Championship match between Germany and Serbia, according to Sidney Schering of QUOTENMETER. The game attracted 5.17 million viewers and had an 18.6% market share. In the target demographic 14-49, the 1-1 tie obtained a 13% market share as 1.29 million viewers tuned in. Following the U21 match, ARD showed the FIFA Women's World Cup match between England and Colombia. The game, which started at 11pm, was watched by 2.18 million viewers and had a 14.9% share. In the target demo, England's 2-1 win had a 10.1% share as 560,000 tuned in. The game between France and Mexico attracted 1.49 million viewers and had a 15.1% share. In the target demo, France's 5-0 victory obtained an 11.8% share as 460,000 viewers tuned in (QUOTENMETER, 6/18).
