Media Notes: CAF, Sportfive Extend Partnership For 12 Years Until '28

The Confederation of African Football and Sportfive agreed to extend their partnership for the main CAF competitions for a period of 12 years ('17-28). Sportfive will continue to commercialize the marketing and media rights of the main regional football competitions in Africa, including the Africa Cup of Nations, African Nations Championship and African Champions League (Sportfive). ... The Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) "has increased its media presence during the '14-15 season." The league referenced a Repucom analysis, which said that the '14-15 regular season "created 2.26 million contact points." The number "represented a 51% increase" in comparison to the same time period in '13-14 (DWDL, 6/15). ... The ATP has re-launched its flagship website, ATPWorldTour.com. Delivering an enhanced, immersive experience across multiple platforms, the website is available for the first time on smartphones and tablets. Following a successful soft launch over the weekend, the enhancements can be seen immediately on the ATP’s responsive-design English-language website, with the re-launch of its Spanish website to follow shortly. The ATP’s Chinese website will re-launch later this year (ATP). ... NeuLion Inc. announced that it has signed a new multi-year agreement with the Tennis Channel. The companies have agreed to collaborate on expanding to new markets and additional devices, following the success of the 2015 French Open on Tennis Channel Everywhere and Tennis Channel Plus channels powered by the NeuLion Digital Platform. The agreement extends the one reached between NeuLion and Tennis Channel in May '14 to support the launch of Tennis Channel Plus at the start of last year's French Open (NeuLion).
