Marketplace Roundup: German Athletics Federation Signs With Tetesept

The German Athletics Federation (DLV) has signed a new main sponsorship deal with health products brand tetesept. The deal will run for three years until the 2018 European Championships in Berlin (DLV). ... Brasileiro sides Flamengo, Corinthians, Cruzeiro, Internacional and Grêmio "are now part of the product portfolio" of watch company Technos. Technos "announced the production" of 70,000 watches for the second half of this year, including a special-edition watch "commemorating" Flamengo's 120th anniversary. Each club will have "around 10 different watch styles" priced between R$189 ($60) and R$350 ($111) (MAQUINA DO ESPORTE, 6/3). ... Wilson Sporting Goods and FIBA announced they have entered into a four-year agreement for FIBA 3x3 -- the organization's 3-on-3 competition. Wilson will supply FIBA with a new basketball designed and engineered by its Wilson Labs innovation team that responds to the speed of the game and enhances shooting, ball handling and grip for players (Wilson). ... EPL side West Ham announced its first social trading partnership with eToro. The partnership will take effect at the start of the '15-16 season. eToro has more than 4 million users across the globe, making it the the largest of all social trading networks (West Ham). ... Italian men’s bodywear brand D.Hedral signed Swiss tennis player and Olympic Gold Medalist Stan Wawrinka "as its global brand ambassador." He "will be featured in a print campaign and a film endorsing the new athletic Seamless II Collection and Ace line launching this fall" (WWD, 6/3).
