Eurosport Scores With Giro D'Italia, FA Cup Final Broadcasts

Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport "recorded close to 300,000 viewers for its coverage of the Giro d'Italia on Saturday," according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. Eurosport's coverage of the cycling race obtained a 2.4% market share. A total of 270,000 tuned in to watch the event. In the target demographic 14-49, the cycling broadcast drew a 1.2% share. Eurosport's broadcast of the FA Cup final later on Saturday was watched by 320,000 viewers starting at 5:41pm. The game between Arsenal and Aston Villa recorded a market share of 1.7%, along with 2% in the target demo (DWDL, 6/1).
