New Elche President Juan Anguix Beginning To Pay Club Employees Owed Salary

After negotiating with Spanish tax authorities to avoid administrative relegation on Monday, La Liga side Elche's new council led by club President Juan Anguix "has begun to liquidate its debt to Elche employees, as he promised after being named president," according to SUPERDEPORTE. The payment has been made through Banco de España. This is a "point of inflection that confirms the changes taking place" at Elche. Anguix "also broke the ice" with Spanish Football League (LFP) President Javier Tebas in a videoconference. Tebas "has given his blessing" to Anguix's regime (SUPERDEPORTE, 5/5).
