Marketplace Roundup: Adidas Originals To Mark Opening Of Italian Store With Artistic Installation

Adidas Originals will mark the opening of its first Italian flagship store on April 30 with an artistic installation. Located in the Corso Como area, the two-story, 2,153 square-foot store "will host an exhibition of the works realized by seven Milanese emerging artists from different areas" (WWD, 4/21). ... Online betting provider Betclic has become the official betting partner of France's National Basketball League (LNB) (Betclic). ... League One side MK Dons announced Errea as the club’s new official kit and technical partner. The partnership commences from the start of the forthcoming campaign and will run until the end of the '17-18 season. Based in Parma, Italy, Errea supplies a host of clubs both on the continent and in the U.K. (MK Dons). ... Baku 2015 European Games and design partner SomeOne "won the top award, Best Use of a Visual Property," at the 2015 Transform European Awards, which took place on Tuesday at The Brewery in London. The Transform Awards "are a celebration of the best in brand work across the whole of Europe," with award categories honoring submissions across the creative, strategic and communication process (AZERTAC, 4/22).
