Marketplace Roundup: VfR Aalen Extends Shirt Sponsorship Deal With proWIN until '16

Second Bundesliga club VfR Aalen has extended its shirt deal with proWIN for another year. The logo of the company will remain on the team's jerseys during the '15-16 season. The deal was brokered by Sportfive (VfR Aalen). ... Rugby League Ireland announced the title sponsorship by McGettigan's Irish Pub for the '15 season. This exclusive sponsorship agreement sees the McGettigan's branding across all the teams involved in the rugby league in Ireland from the domestic clubs, schools, students, state of origin, wheelchair and senior teams. It also sees the rugby league coming to the Carlisle Grounds in Bray, where the Student 4 Nations will be held (RLI). ... Dunlop Tires has appointed marketing agency KINC to "support its new brand positioning strategy." The remit includes "creating a performance-driven PR campaign" in conjunction with current and new Dunlop sport ambassadors (PR WEEK, 4/20). ... Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. was appointed as the latest Tokyo 2020 Gold Partner in the category of “Real Estate Development” (Tokyo 2020). ... Equestrian footwear and apparel specialist Ariat "signed an exclusive licensing and sponsorship agreement with the FEI." Ariat Int'l will develop a new co-branded product collection to launch at the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Final in Gothenburg in Sweden in '16, "with a share of the sales proceeds going to FEI Solidarity" (HORSE TALK, 4/19). ... Stobart Group "has been unveiled as the official sponsor of the 2015 Flat jockeys' championships." The deal "has been agreed on a one-year basis, with an option to renew" (RACING UK, 4/20).
