Namibian FA Announces Adidas Will Replace Puma As Official Kit Supplier

Namibia FA Secretary General Barry Rukoro said that adidas has replaced Puma as the official supplier of the Namibian national sides' playing gear for the next three years, according to ALL AFRICA. Namibia turned to adidas after severing ties with Puma, which was "ditched after eight years providing the distinctive red and white uniform to Namibia." Rukoro said that unspecified "problems" experienced with Puma were the reason for terminating the relationship. Rukoro fell short of "confirming the total value of the sponsorship deal," however he said that the NFA was "in line to gain prizes." The deal will include "supplying performance and training kits and match balls to all national football teams at every level" (ALL AFRICA, 3/30).
