Event Notes: Velux EHF Final4 To Remain In Cologne Until 2020

The European Handball Federation decided to award the organization of the Velux EHF Final4 to Cologne and the Lanxess arena for an additional four years. With the existing agreement with Cologne due to expire after the '16 event, the new agreement will cover the period '17-20 (EHF). ... The South Korean Olympic Committee (KOC) "will send 525 athletes and staff to the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade, its largest delegation yet." It will include 387 athletes, who will compete in all 21 sports, and 138 support staff. The board said that "it was too late to have a joint team" of South and North Korea (KOREA TIMES, 3/26).
