Nomura Holdings, Inc. Joins Leading Sponsors Of Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Nomura Holdings, Inc. "will support the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as the only securities firm among top-tier domestic sponsors," according to Takahiko Hyuga of BLOOMBERG. Japan’s biggest brokerage said that the role as a so-called gold partner "allows Nomura to market its support for the summer and paralympic games for six years until the end of 2020." Tokyo-based Nomura "joins eight Japanese companies, including Canon Inc. and Nippon Life Insurance Co., as gold partners" (BLOOMBERG, 3/24). INSIDE THE GAMES' Daniel Etchells wrote the financial services group, which has an integrated global network spanning more than 30 countries, will provide services and support in the category "Securities" (INSIDE THE GAMES, 3/25).
