Media Notes: Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes Most Liked Person On Facebook

Cristiano Ronaldo became "the most liked person on Facebook." The Portuguese winger, 30, "has overtaken singer Shakira at the top of the charts, as he has totalled up to 107 million likes on the social network." Ronaldo "is now approximately 29 million likes ahead of Barcelona rival Lionel Messi" (London DAILY MIRROR, 3/15). ... UEFA announced it has awarded media rights to the UEFA Champions League in Malta to Go plc "for a further three seasons." In addition to eight live matches being broadcast on every match night, Go Sports customers "will also screen match highlights" and a Champions League magazine program (TIMES OF MALTA, 3/15).
