Marketplace Roundup: Sauber F1 Team Partners With Semiconductor Company Silanna

The Sauber F1 Team announced int'l semiconductor company Silanna as principal partner. The Silanna logos are visible on the front and rear wing endplates of the Sauber C34, as well as on the side of the cockpit and the top of the monocoque (Sauber F1). ... Ooredoo and Real Madrid announced a new exclusive partnership. This is the first time Real Madrid chose to partner with an Algerian and African operator. Ooredoo becomes the official and exclusive partner in Algeria. Beyond the traditional framework of sponsorship, the two parties stressed the depth of this new partnership that will result in numerous initiatives to support Algerian youth (Ooredoo). ... Ligue 1 side Bordeaux "agreed a sponsorship deal with Acer." The deal "will see the Taiwanese multinational become the official technology partner" of the club, sitting in the club's second tier of sponsors. Financial terms "were not released" (SOCCEREX, 3/3). ... French carmaker Renault "has been announced as the official vehicle supplier of Serie A club Napoli for the remainder of this season." The company, through one of its Naples branches, "has already supplied a fleet of 13 vehicles to the team and its staff" (SOCCEREX, 3/3).

LEAKED KIT?
Pictures "have emerged that allegedly show Chelsea's new kits for the 2015-16 season." Last week, the club signed a massive £40M ($61M)-a-year, five-year deal with Japanese tire company Yokohama rubber. Kit website footyheadlines.com claims to have got its hands "on leaked designs for next season" (London INDEPENDENT, 3/2).

French club Girondins de Bordeaux have agreed a sponsorship deal with Acer.

The deal will see the Taiwanese multinational become the official technology partner of the Ligue 1 side, sitting in the club's second tier of sponsors. Financial terms were not released.
