Liverpool Announces Launch Of Online Stores Across Five Asian Territories

The "growing appeal in the Far East" of Liverpool has prompted the club to announce the "launching of new online club stores in five Asian territories," according to XINHUA. The new shops will be aimed at fans in the China territory of Hong Kong as well as Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. The new sites will be operated by EZ Int'l, which has run the Liverpool online store in China since '12. EZ Int'l is a "pioneer in the e-commerce football business" which has seen Liverpool's e-commerce sales in the China territory increase by more than 200%. The stores will sell replica kits and training kits, "as well as the full range of Liverpool FC-branded fashion, accessories and souvenirs" (XINHUA, 2/23).
