More Than 1 Million Viewers Tune In To Watch Champions League Match On Sky

German pay-TV network Sky Deutschland "recorded more than 1 million viewers for its broadcast of the Champions League matchup between Bayern Munich and Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night," according to Manuel Weis of QUOTENMETER. The game, which "was played in Lviv due to the continuing unrest in Donetsk," attracted an average of 1.02 million viewers starting at 8:45pm. The number translated into a market share of 3.4%. In the target demographic 14-49, Sky's coverage of the goalless draw obtained a 5.3% share. After the game broadcast, Sky's "Alle Spiele, alle Tore" highlights show obtained a 1.4% share as 260,000 tuned in. In the target demographic, the 50-minute show had a 2.2% share (QUOTENMETER, 2/18).
