Freiburg President Fritz Keller Calls For Discussion About FFP In Bundesliga

Bundesliga side SC Freiburg President Fritz Keller "has called for a discussion about the financing of Bundesliga clubs," according to the DPA. Keller said that there "should be talks about the principle of financial fair play, which does not take place in the Bundesliga." Keller: "I'm not complaining about company clubs, but something has to happen in this area." Overall, Keller "praised the work of company clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen or VfL Wolfsburg." He added that the leadership of company-dependent clubs "is usually very good because they think in long term and it is easier to build stable structures" (DPA, 2/15).
