Sports Consultancy Female Sports Group Launches In The U.K.

Female Sports Group, the first full service sports consultancy in the U.K. to focus exclusively on mixed gender and female sports, launched on Monday. In the sectors of sport where results, performance and achievements have so often outstripped media exposure and commercial investment, Female Sports Group intends to "lead the charge" in redressing some of this imbalance. As part of their preparation for the launch, Female Sports Group Founding Partners John Postlethwaite and Fraser Houlder have created a strategic alliance with Repucom. Repucom has just announced the launch of their new report "Women And Sport," which provides new insights into this growing sector. CEO Postlethwaite: "We strongly feel that mixed gender and female sport is at a tipping point and the professionalism, quality of events and broadcast opportunities in these sectors are on a steep upwards curve" (Female Sports Group).
