WTA's Steve Tseng Going Back To IMG To Head Team Working On Visa Account

WTA Global Head of Sponsorship Sales STEVE TSENG is leaving to return to IMG, where he worked for 20 years before joining the women's tennis circuit in July '13. Tseng will head IMG’s consulting team on the Visa account. He will be based in S.F., where he previously worked for IMG. Sources said he will begin his new job in early February. IMG won Visa’s global sports marketing business late last year in one of the most high-profile agency shootouts of '14. Visa’s portfolio includes an IOC TOP sponsorship, the FIFA World Cup and NFL rights. Those marketing responsibilities had been split among multiple agencies, including GMR, IMG and Team Epic.
