Bundesliga Side Eintracht Frankfurt To Report Profit Of €350,000 For '13-14 Fiscal Year

Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt "is reportedly on the path to financial recovery," according to Klaus Veit of the FRANKFURTER NEUE PRESSE. The club's numbers for the '13-14 fiscal year, which will officially be unveiled at Frankfurt's member meeting on Jan. 25, show it generated a profit of about €350,000. During the previous year, Eintracht Frankfurt reported a loss of €938,000. The positive result is mainly due to the club's decision to sell a 5% stake in the football team. Eintracht VP Thomas Förster said that this sale generated income of €1.014M. In addition, the club received more donations (€514,000 instead of €210,000) and an increase in membership to about 28,000 meant income of €2.4M, which is about €500,000 more than during the previous year (FNP, 1/9).
