Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart introduced ROBIN DUTT as its new sports director on Tuesday. The former head coach of league rival Werder Bremen replaces FREDI BOBIC, who was fired in September (SID, 1/6). ... I-League side Mohun Bagan President SWAPAN SADHAN BOSE, General Secretary ANJAN MITRA and Finance Secretary DEBASHIS DUTTA resigned. The trio "also quit as directors of United Mohun Bagan Football Team Private Ltd." and the resignations "are with immediate effect" (IANS, 1/5). ... ALEX KAY-JELSKI has been appointed as the London Daily Mail's sports editor, replacing LES SNOWDON. Kay-Jelski joined the newspaper in '07 after coming through the Mail's graduate training program. Snowdon departs after five and a half years to become editor of The Times in Scotland. Kay-Jelski will report to Head of Sport LEE CLAYTON (Daily Mail).

COACHES/MANAGERS
: Spanish Basketball League (ACB) side Fuenlabrada sacked coach LUIS CASIMIRO. Fuenlabrada is currently second-to-last in the ACB with a record of 3-12 (ACB). ... Equatorial Guinea has named ESTEBAN BECKER as coach for this month's African Nations Cup after "moving him across from managing their women's team." It is the first "major appointment" in men's football for the Argentine. No "details of his terms were given" (REUTERS, 1/6).

FPF EXECS: EDWIN OVIEDO was on Monday sworn in as the president of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF), replacing MANUEL BURGA. The FPF's exec committee will also include First VP AGUSTÍN LOZANO SAAVEDRA and Treasurer RAÚL ROJAS TITO. FRANKLIN CHUQUIZUTA ALVARADO, LUCIO ALVA OCHOA, JUAN FRANCISMO QUISPE CÁCERES, SEVERO SALAZAR ARANDIA and CIRILA HAYDEE PAITÁN SUÁREZ were all named directors of the exec committee (CONMEBOL).
