Cambodia will begin the New Year with an initiative "to give greater visibility to women and sport issues." The country will host "a four-day women and sport seminar for Asia at Siem Reap’s Sokhalay Angkor Resort and Spa" from Thursday to Sunday. The seminar will feature discussions and training sessions touching on wide-ranging issues "including leadership qualities, communication and networking skills, coaching and mentoring and strategic proactive steps to ensure equitable representation of women in Southeast Asia" (PHNOM PENH POST, 1/1).
