La Liga Side Athletic Bilbao President Announces Club Will Hold Elections March 27

La Liga side Athletic Bilbao President Josu Urrutia announced that the club will hold elections on March 27, according to the EFE. He added that he and the club's board will "run for reelection." Urrutia, who was elected club president in '11, admitted that "there is no ideal date" for the elections, but said that among the possible dates, March 27 "is the best for the interests of the club." He said, "Whoever is elected president will have time to analyze the club at all levels, athletic, economic, and social, and will have time to make decisions ahead of the next season" (EFE, 12/30).
