Bulgaria's Razgrad City Pumps In More Cash To Complete Ludogorets Arena

Bulgaria's Ludogorets Razgrad will receive an additional BGN 1M ($612,800) from the Razgrad Municipality "to continue the renovation of its stadium, the Ludogorets Arena," according to Alexander Krassimirov of INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL. Construction workers "are currently working around the clock" to complete the finishing work on sector "B." In '14 BGN 3M ($1.8M) "was allocated for the stadium from the 'Regions in growth' government project." Construction work "began in late August." The deadline for implementation was 180 days -- "ie by the end of February." The capacity of the stand "will be increased by 2,355 places, and after its completion, the club will begin reconstruction and repair of the other sectors of the stadium." The overall reconstruction of "Ludogorets Arena" will be completed by the end of '15 with the club providing BGN 20M ($12M), with the local government contribution from the Municipality of Razgrad coming to a total of BGN 4M ($2.4M) (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 12/22).
