Marketplace Roundup: DFB Extends Partnership With Coca-Cola Until '17

The German Football Federation (DFB) has extended its partnership with Coca-Cola for another three years until Dec. 31, 2017. Coca-Cola has been a partner of the DFB since '81 (DFB). ... Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart has "extended its kit deal with Puma." The new long-term deal means Puma "will continue to supply kits to all VfB teams, including all youth teams." Puma "has been the club's official kit supplier since '02" (STUTTGARTER NACHRICHTEN, 12/18). ... Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) club Crailsheim Merlins signed a new main sponsorship deal with clothing company Hakro (Crailsheim Merlins).

FUN IN THE SUN: British leather boutique Christian Cather & Co signed an exclusive endorsement deal with West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo. The deal corresponds with the release of the brand’s latest SS15 collection which is set to hit shelves in a few weeks (Christian Cathor). ... London Broncos Rugby League has renewed sponsor Gibson Shipping Energy. Gibson Shipping Energy has been a long-term sponsor of the club and has appeared on the Broncos shorts in previous seasons. In ‘15 the Gibson logo features on the collar of the home and away shirts (London Broncos). ... EPL side Fulham announced a partnership with iPro Sport as the club's official isotonic sports drink supplier for the ’14-15 & ’15-16 seasons. The deal will see iPro Sport get brand exposure during Championship fixtures at Craven Cottage, home of Fulham. The club's first team and U21 squads will be provided with isotonic drinks supplied by iPro Sport throughout the term of the partnership (Fulham). ... The NSW Swifts announced a new partnership with Etixx, which joins as the official sports nutrition partner for '15. Etixx Sports Nutrition is one of the fastest growing sports nutrition brands in Europe (NSW Swifts).

SAY CHEESE: Swiss industry association Interprofession du Gruyère extended its partnership as an official partner of the Tour de Suisse by two years (2015-2016). The industry association has been involved with the tour for 12 years and will award a piece of Gruyère cheese to the winner of each stage. Le Gruyère AOP will be prominently displayed on various archways, banners and in the communication media of the Tour de Suisse (Tour de Suisse).
