Media Notes: Volleyball Bundesliga Extends Deal With Broadcasters ARD, ZDF Through '17

Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) highlights will continue to air on German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF after the league association extended its deal with sports rights agency SportA until the end of the '16-17 season. The extension includes highlights of Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga games -- both men's and women's (VBL). ... Liverpool’s official club TV channel "will now be available on Virgin Media." When LFCTV was relaunched in high definition as a subscription channel last month, "it was only available via Sky." However, "an agreement has now been reached for Virgin Media customers to also access the channel" for £7 ($11) per month (LIVERPOOL ECHO, 12/16).
