Marketplace Roundup: DEL Club Dusseldorf EG Signs Deal With PSD Bank Rhein-Ruhr

German Hockey League (DEL) side Dusseldorf EG has signed a deal with PSD Bank Rhein-Ruhr eG. The bank's logo will be featured on the club's home jersey. In addition, the bank will receive ad space on the player's pants, on the ice and along the boards at the ISS Dome (Dusseldorf EG). ... English fifth-tier club Aldershot Town announced that Bridges Estate Agents has extended its sponsorship of the club for a third year. Bridges' name will now appear on the Shots' red and blue shirts until the summer of '16 (Aldershot Town). ... National Rugby League side Newcastle Knights announced it signed Newpave Asphalt as a major partner for the '15 season (Newcastle Knights). ... Super Rugby side Lions announced a "five-year sponsorship agreement" with Emirates. Emirates will become the title sponsor of the team "as well as to Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg." Starting Jan. 1, the Lions will become known as the Emirates Lions, and the "Fly Emirates" logo will be displayed on the match and training jerseys of the team for the next five years. Ellis Park Stadium will be renamed "Emirates Airline Park" (TIMES LIVE, 12/11). ... National Basketball League side Perth Wildcats announced vehicle rental supplier Thrifty as a gold partner of the club for the next four years. After initially purchasing corporate hospitality at the beginning of this season, recent discussions have resulted in Thrifty increasing its involvement to include game night branding and team transport for all away games. Thrifty will own the branding rights to the Thrifty Airship, which will be flown inside Perth Arena at every game night (Wildcats).
