Wimbledon Runner-Up Eugenie Bouchard Signs Management Deal With WME-IMG

Eugenie Bouchard, who reached her first Wimbledon final this season, "signed a global marketing and management deal with talent agency WME-IMG," according to Danielle Rossingh of BLOOMBERG. WME-IMG said that the 20-year-old will be represented by a team led by Jill Smoller. Smoller "is the longtime agent of top-ranked Serena Williams of the U.S." Bouchard said WME-IMG "is in the best possible position to help me achieve my business goals and maximize the value of my brand." WME-IMG said Bouchard has also been signed by IMG Models "to expand her presence in the fashion industry." Bouchard did not renew her contract with Lagardere Unlimited, "the French company that had represented her since her early teens, when it expired at the end of this season" (BLOOMBERG, 12/10).
