AS Roma Joins Man City, Real Madrid As Int'l Champions Cup Participants In '15

Serie A side AS Roma will join Real Madrid and Man City for the Int'l Champions Cup at Melbourne Cricket Ground in July, according to David Davutovic of the HERALD SUN. The star-studded tournament "will be hosted annually in Australia until 2018." Francesco Totti’s Roma "has been confirmed as the third and final touring team" for '15. The Italians "will open the tournament against Real Madrid on July 18," before facing Man City on July 21. The clash between Man City and Real will close the event on July 24. Organizers Nine Live and TLA Worldwide "have signed a four-year deal to host the ICC in Australia and the Victorian government will get the chance to extend its one-year deal" (HERALD SUN, 12/9).
