Marketplace Roundup: TBA Wins Rugby World Cup Hospitality Contract

Events agency TBA "won a multi-million-pound contract with global sports and media company IMG, on behalf of the Rugby World Cup." As the sole creative and production agency for the '15 tournament, TBA "will design, build and manage the hospitality areas at eight stadiums in England and Wales for RWC partners, which include Heineken, Land Rover, Societe Generale, DHL, Emirates and MasterCard" (EVENT MAGAZINE, 12/8). ... Cambodian bank ANZ Royal "will enhance its support for Tennis Cambodia in a phased manner over the next few years." ANZ Royal CEO Grant Knuckey said that "given the bank’s remarkable growth and its connection to the ANZ Group, which is one the sport’s most high profile sponsors, there remained a wide range of opportunities to increase their support to Cambodia" (PHNOM PENH POST, 12/8). ... Ligue 1 side Paris St. Germain and Repucom have renewed their collaboration. The deal marks the start of a two-year extension for the company to evaluate PSG's media exposure, both nationally and internationally, as the club looks to provide sponsors with an accurate evaluation of their own relationship with the club (PSG).
