Franchise Notes: New Zealand's Super Black Racing To Enter V8 Supercars

New Zealand's Super Black Racing will enter the V8 Supercars Championship on a full-time basis next season. The team's campaign will feature rising Kiwi driver Andre Heimgartner, with the teenager landing the drive following an impressive debut at Bathurst in October. Heimgartner's Ford will be built by dual Bathurst-winning outfit Prodrive Racing (Australia) which runs Ford Australia's factory team, Ford Performance Racing (STUFF, 11/28). ... Each of the members of Real Madrid's first team last week received €700,000 ($861,400) in bonuses "for winning" the Champions League (€600,000) ($738,300) and Copa del Rey (€100,000) ($123,000) last year (MUNDO DEPORTIVO, 12/3).
