Bayern Munich Reports Record Revenue Of €528.7M, Profit Of €16.5M For '13-14

Bayern Munich "has released its financial numbers for the fiscal year ending June 30 in which it generated a record revenue," according to SPORT1. The club reported revenue of €528.7M ($660M) for the '13-14 season. In comparison, Bayern had revenues of €432.8M during the previous year. The club's profit after taxes was €16.5M ($20.6M), which is €2.5M ($3.1M) more than last year. The club has a "massive" capital of €405M and a further €186.9M on its fixed-term deposit account. Bayern Munich "is Germany's most profitable club ahead of Borussia Dortmund," which generated revenue of €260.7M and a profit of €11.97M. In Europe, the club "remains in the top 4 behind Read Madrid, ManU and FC Barcelona." Finance Dir Jan-Christian Dreesen: "No question, our FC Bayern is athletically as well as economically on a foundation like never before" (SPORT1, 11/28).
