NRL Fans Give Thumbs Down To ARL Commission Chair Grant As Pressure Continues

National Rugby League fans "have given a giant thumbs down" to Australian Rugby League Commission Chair John Grant with only two out of 10 supporters saying he is "doing a good job," according to Phil Rothfield of the Sydney DAILY TELEGRAPH. In a Daily Telegraph online poll on Monday, in which more than 4,500 voted, both Grant and CEO Dave Smith "came under fire for poor leadership." Asked to rate their combined performances out of 10, almost 40% of readers "voted in the 1-3 category." Smith was slightly more popular than Grant although 67% said that he was not doing a "good job" (DAILY TELEGRAPH, 11/25).
