Marketplace Roundup: Surfer Sebastian Steudtner Partners With Betsafe

Big wave surfer Sebastian Steudtner has teamed up with betting provider Betsafe for his world record-breaking project. The 29-year-old will try to surf the world's biggest wave this year and Betsafe will become the project's main sponsor. In addition, Steudtner will become a brand ambassador for Betsafe (Betsafe). ... Super Rugby side Western Force and RugbyWA launched a partnership with int'l sports supplement brand, Etixx Sports Nutrition. Etixx Sports Nutrition, to be launched in Australia in January 2015, is one of the fastest growing sports nutrition brands in Europe and will be the club’s official sports nutrition partner for the next three seasons (Western Force). ... INX Digital Czech signed a corporate sponsorship agreement this season with Prague hockey team Sparta Praha. The deal provides prominent in-arena signage and a skybox suite for entertaining clients at games (INX Digital). ... Dorna Sports, commercial rights holders and organizers of the MotoGP World Championship, announced that lubricant manufacturer Liqui Moly will become the official oil supplier for both Moto2 and Moto3 in '15 (MotoGP). ... After 10 years of partnership with adidas, Top 14 rugby side Stade Français has decided to change its kit supplier. Starting in July, the Paris rugby club will be dressed by Japanese athletic equipment company Asics. This is a four-year deal that goes until the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan (FRANCE BLEU, 11/17). ... Italian sports supplement company Enervit has signed on to become an official sponsor of the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI). Enervit will sponsor the Italian men’s and women’s Cross Country and Nordic Combined skiing teams for the ’14-15 season (FISI). ... The Scottish FA and Mars Chocolate UK announced that they are renewing their existing partnership for another four-year term. Mars will continue its role as official partner of the Scotland National Team and official partner to the Scottish FA until July ’18 (Scottish FA). ... European Handball Federation Marketing GmbH has announced the extension of another partnership, with TF Travels continuing in the role as official travel and ticket partner of the 2015 VELUX EHF FINAL4 for Sweden. Ticket sales for the event launched in June at this year’s event and sales are at an advanced stage (EHF).
