While this level of research "can in no way be considered scientific," it indicates that ManU and Crystal Palace fans made "more of a din than any others by as many as six decibels" (London TELEGRAPH, 11/10). ... The referee for Ligue 1 side Paris St. Germain's 2-0 win over Marseille Saturday night, Clement Turpin, admitted on Monday "he was wrong to send off" Marseille midfielder Gianelli Imbula with 12 minutes left. A Ligue 1 disciplinary commission statement said, "After seeing the images, he realised he had misinterpreted the tackle made by Marseille player Imbula, and he shouldn't have been sent off.” Imbula will face no further punishment (AFP, 11/10). ...
