Marketplace Roundup: Arsenal Announces Partnership With Markets.com

Arsenal named trading provider Markets.com an official partner. As the club's official forex, CFD and binary trading partner, Markets.com will activate the partnership in a number of territories, with a particular focus on Asia, where the Gunners have made recent preseason tours and have sustained digital fan engagement. The agreement will give Markets.com the right to develop cross-promotional and marketing activities, including a presence across Arsenal’s digital media channels (Arsenal). ... A-League side Perth Glory announced a partnership with Australian eye-care provider Laubman and Pank, which will be the club's official ocular health partner for the '14-15 season (Perth Glory). ... Low-cost airline AirAsia India on Sunday announced its association with Indian Premier League cricket side Kings XI Punjab by becoming one of its sponsors. Kings XI Punjab, which reached the semifinals of the Champions League Twenty20 in '14, is co-owned by Bollywood actress Preity Zinta (PTI, 10/26).

TEAMING UP: Euro 2016 Organizing Committee President Jacques Lambert and Ligue 1 side Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas “announced the partnership between EURO 2016 SAS and Lyon,” which gives the club the title of "Official Hospitality Provider for UEFA Euro 2016." The Grand Stade de Lyon will host six matches of the Euro 2016 including a potential last-16 clash with France as well as one semifinal (Lyon). ... Youthstream announced that Monster Energy and the FIM Motocross World Championship have extended their partnership for a multi-year term. The agreement confirms Monster Energy as the exclusive energy drink partner of the series and makes Monster Energy title sponsor of the FIM Motocross of Nations and the MXGP of USA. Monster Energy will also be the exclusive energy drink sponsor of the European EMX125 and the EMX250 Championships (MXGP). ... German Hockey League (DEL) club Hamburg Freezers has extended its partnership with budget airline easyJet until the end of the '14-15 season (easyJet).
