Sky Deutschland Attracts Top Ratings For Tuesday's Champions League Coverage

German pay-TV operator Sky Deutschland "attracted a top audience for its simulcast of Tuesday's Champions League games," according to Dennis Weber of QUOTENMETER. The program, which started at 8:45pm, was watched by 1.11 million viewers. The number translated into a market share of 3.9%. In the target demographic 14-49, Sky obtained a market share of 5.8% as 630,000 viewers tuned in. Following the game broadcasts, Sky's "Alle Spiele, alle Tore" ("All games, all goals") show attracted 350,000 viewers and had a market share of 2.3% starting at 10:45pm. In the target demographic, the highlights show obtained a 2.8% share while 170,000 viewers tuned in (QUOTENMETER, 10/22).

IN SPAIN: The EP reported nearly 4.4 million viewers tuned into TVE's La 1 for Barcelona's 3-1 win over Ajax Amsterdam on Tuesday in Champions League group play. The number translated to a market share of 23.6% and the audience peaked with 5.6 million viewers at 10:34pm local time (EP, 10/22).
