Bundesliga Side FC Cologne Releases Financial Numbers For The '13-14 Season

Bundesliga side FC Cologne "has released its financial results for the '13-14 season," according to the SID. The club reported revenue of €68.6M and profits of €1.2M. In addition, Cologne was able to reduce its liabilities to €31.4M. The reason for the club's positive results is record income from merchandise, high home-game attendance and a greater share of TV revenue. Cologne Managing Dir Alexander Wehrle said, "For a season in the 2nd Bundesliga this is a very positive result. We are also planning with positive result for the 2014-15 season, and we want to reduce our liabilities and increase our capital" (SID, 10/20).
