Stoke City Complains To BBC Over Hartson's Comments About 'Cheating' Victor Moses

EPL side Stoke City "made an official complaint to the BBC" after former Welsh football player John Hartson branded Stoke City player Victor Moses "a cheat," while the FA is set to charge Swansea City Manager Garry Monk, according to John Percy of the London TELEGRAPH. Hartson "launched a withering attack on Moses’s conduct" on Sunday’s Match of the Day 2 program, after the winger’s fall in the penalty area, and Stoke contacted the BBC to register its anger. Stoke Chair Peter Coates branded Hartson -- a self-confessed Swansea fan -- “a disgrace” and insisted that "he had crossed the line with his outspoken remarks." Stoke has also spoken to the EPL about Monk, "who also called Moses a cheat in a highly charged post-match press conference." He "is expected to be officially charged by the FA on Tuesday." Hartson: "That for me is a terrible dive and a total lack of professionalism from Moses. I just can't believe it and I think Garry Monk has every right to be angry. He has cheated" (TELEGRAPH, 10/20).
